Fatigue

-1 all rolls per 6hrs without sleep after being awake for 1day. D#9 (+1/6hrs) to stay awake. No penalty after 6hrs sleep.

Fear

-1 all rolls. Variable D# to ignore the penalty for 1rnd.

Friendly Fire

-6 PATK to shoot at a target within Close RNG of or behind an ally. F:Re-roll the ATK with no bonuses vs ally's REF.

Hunger

-1 all rolls and Speed (minimum 1yd) per day without food. Die after starving for Cx3 days. The penalty is reduced by 1/day that you eat a meal.

Infection

-1C when you fail a Recovery roll. Heals at 1C/wk.

Load

Carry Cx5lb at no penalty. -1 all rolls per 5lb over.

Pain

-1 all rolls for every point of DMG on any body location.

Prone

+3 PATK if Aimed. Speed 1yd. +3 Stealth. +3 to enemy ATKs from RNG:C and RNG:S. -3 to enemy PATKs from RNG:M and RNG:L.

Radiation

-1C/hr in an irradiated area. Heals 1C/wk of rest.

Range (RNG)

Optimal effective reach of a Projectile weapon.

  • Close (RNG:C)

1yd. Used for Melee weapons. +3 PATK.


  • Short (RNG:S)

1-20yds. Throw weapon RNG.


  • Mid (RNG:M)

20-50yds.


  • Long (RNG:L)

50+yds.

Reflex(REF)

Static DEF score = your Acrobatics(Dodge) /2 (minimum 1). This is the # for any ATK against you while you are conscious, standing, and unrestrained but otherwise unaware or unprepared. No roll. -3 REF penalty per ATK after the first.

Stun

No actions. DEF = 0. Fall Prone if Stunned >1rnd.

Suffocation

Roll C#12/rnd after 1min. 1 Head DMG per Fail.

Terrain

Acrobatics, Climb, Speed (min 1), and drive penalties:


  • Mushy

-1/inch. (ex. Mud or Snow.)


  • Slick

-3 (ex. Icy Road.)


  • Tangled

-6 (ex. Thick Foliage.)

Thirst

-1 all rolls and Speed (min 1) per day without 1 water ration. Die after C/2 days. Penalty reduces by 1/day you drink.

Unarmed

Empty hand fighting. Unarmed DMG = DMG Mod + Successes.

Unstable

-3 all A rolls and A Skills. If the target of a PATK is Unstable, the PATK takes the -3 penalty.
